Extension Work Makes Leaders in South Dakota
Brookings December 10 Development of trained rural leadership has been a standout national achievement of the extension service. Washington DC central supervisor F L Gilbertson told county agents home demonstration agents and other South Dakota extension workers that community leadership of farmers and homemakers drives progress. He noted that capable rural leadership developed over the last 25 years is shown by how farmers now apply world economic insights to local needs. A year-end summary and 1925-37 planning prospects were presented by Eberle, with campus welcome from President Pugsley.
