Popcorn Company Builds New Plant in Hartford Area
Hartford dispatch reports Baby Rice Popcorn company of Waterloo Wisconsin rebuilt its plant after a recent fire at a cost of 6000 dollars. The facility was erected in about 10 days and the company has handled 650000 pounds of popcorn locally over the past eight years. The plant shells bags and stores the corn and local farmers plant about 600 acres annually for sale to the company.
Dealers Urged to Aid Rush on Auto Licenses in SD
Pierre Dec 16 In a bid to speed 1530 automobile licenses state motor vehicle director Andrew Marvick directed all South Dakota dealers to push buyers to secure title in the new owner's name promptly. The guidance notes a July 1 1929 law change and that post December 20 to January 3 1930 purchases require a 1929 license.
