County auditor A M Fuller reports 71.15 percent of the 1934 levy collected by December 1, despite drought and dust storms. The total levy was 762 017 85 with 542 205 92 collected. 1933 saw higher percentage, 69.1 percent, while 1932 had 44.0 percent collected in 1933. Back-tax payments show 81 14 percent of the 1932 levy paid by Dec 1, 1934. Delinquent list size drops to 12 columns from 19, due partly to land not covered and partly to better payments.
