Aberdeen's New Term Begins December 10
Aberdeen December 5 Special report states Northern Normal classes start December 10 with enrollment for all students except the one year program. The program divides into three classes with enrollment on December 4 for one group and December 5 for the other two. Few schedule changes. most work continues as usual. A new course on Juvenile Leadership will be led by Scout Executive Ovrum as a regular subject after its quarter to provide future teachers with understanding of juvenile attitudes in scouting.

Pardon and commute granted in Pierre case
Governor Bilow announced pardoning Clarence Sangster for adultery after Beadle county imprisonment of 18 months from April 26, 1899. John Hanrahan, also Beadle county, had a December 1924 sentence reduced from 15 years to 100 years. The report notes other officers involved and a prior recall of T. J. Cigarette Tax Showed Increase in November Revenue
In Pierre South Dakota the November cigarette tax revenue reached 38020.27, a gain of over 5000 from the previous year. Cigarette stamps remitted 37676.92 to the state, license fees 403.25. Gasoline tax fell to 422505.29 from 423326.24 prior month, malt tax dropped from 4114.45 to 759.42 with 746.42 from malt stamps and 18 from licenses.

Thieves Caught Once Make Second Escape
Milbank reports two youths who stole an automobile from Harvey Christenson were captured in Miles City Montana and escaped while in custody. The Christenson car, found in a Milage garage, was badly damaged during the trip. insurance will cover the loss. The youths gave names Robert McDonald and Norman Collins but provided no residence.
