Divided Paternity Briefly Raised in Columbus Case
In Columbus a custody dispute over ten year old twin girls centers on alleged divided paternity. The mother seeks custody while the husband, claiming one daughter as his, refuses to surrender the other. Obstetricians say such cases are possible but hard to prove. blood tests may deny paternity but not identify the father. A related South Dakota case involved twins where custody was split.
