TERRE HAUTE IND Aug 4 The siege of the Dixie Bee coal mine was raised today by statewide Indiana guardsmen who freed 65 miners. A large picket line faded as 820 guardsmen marched in at midnight to remove the injured. Four miners were wounded and treated after a rifle battle that left one picket dead and others hurt. Local deputy forces had been powerless to break the line.
