South Dakota supreme court issued decisions this week affirming six lower court rulings and reversing two. The actions covered include Edmunds county circuits awarding Icis 1 Engler $2895 against Ipswich Printing, Hutchinson county case against Adolph Frasch and sureties on a depository bond, and a Denver Mutual fire policy suit blocked by a Kingsbury county decision. Also upheld were Minnehaha county probate matters for income to Agnes Reeves, and a suit against H Thomas and International Harvester for overpayment. The court reversed a grain overpayment verdict in Hyde county and overturned damages for malicious prosecution in a dispute between Ole Olson and J Will Wasiland. The Gregory county ruling benefiting F. Custer over legal advertising fees was sustained, with the legislature later reducing the tax sale description fee.
