Three Wanted Bank Robbers Nabbed in Racine
Aug 1 4 three men tied to the Judson bank heist were arrested in Racine while breakfasting. Paul Huntley brother Earl 26 and Thomas Luy 25 were seized with federal and local agents after riding freight trains from Mankato and Milwaukee. The Judson bank robbery involved threatening the president acting cashier and slugging him during the holdup.

WESSINGTON SPRINGS Aug 1 Special announces the establishment of a black fox and mink farm by F E Powell a Milwaukee railroad employee. Lard land is leased near the city fences and pens are under construction. Powell with prior fox and mink experience from Fulda Minnesota reports twenty mink already arrived and three pair of fox will join soon. From Fulda three pair of fox have produced twenty one young this spring.

Expect To Strike Oil At Barker Well Today
Hot Springs officials of Black Hills Petroleum predict oil sands will be struck tonight at Rockford No 1 in Barker field near Hot Springs. The second well shows heavy skake-like particles and gas has strengthened in the past 10 days with a strong sulphurous odor. Pete Ward, company president, says completion in seven weeks, much faster than the first well. Potash salts found in a thick bed of rock in New Brunswick while a bore is underway for gas.

Five Die in Manitowoc Train Car Collision
A North Western gas electric car struck a touring car four miles south of Manitowoc Wisconsin killing five occupants and injuring five others all residents of the county. The crossing signal failed to avert the crash and the car overturned tossing passengers. Names include Mrs Victory Pavalish Mrs Frank Mrotek Marian Mrotek and two Vanderbrush children. Youths Held For Mobridge Police Strikes And Escapes
Arthur Liggett aged 10 of Aberdeen and Joe Ashton aged 14 of Manhattan Kens were held after a jail break incident in Mobridge.
