Cure for Colds Emphasizes Rest and Hydration
Brookings April 30 There are no spectacular methods for treating the common cold says Dr Henrik Tillisch State College physician Rest in bed is most effective and simple. Citrated drinks fruit juices and extra water aid toxin elimination while one or two days rest at the start may surpass medicines. The cold is an invasion of respiratory passages worsened by lack of sleep fatigue chilling and poor eating. Heavy indoor clothing and sudden temperature changes increase susceptibility. Late winter and spring are peak cold seasons and illnesses can persist into summer.
