Wellington April 23 Sunshine Demonstration Club met at the Chitwood home with Mrs. V Chitwood and Mrs S N Bottum as hostesses. Members answered roll call with How I Improved My Reading. Mrs C J Coop reviewed Cross Creek. A Jaylondis was served. Next hosts are Mrs H Scheele and Mrs Richard Gehring. A calendar flower flavored soup in grandmothers days was noted.

Government Sponsored College Courses Offered This Summer
Huron College will run four government sponsored courses this summer for basic defense industry training. Raymond J. Greb says courses cost nothing beyond textbooks and require no college credit though a high school education suffices. Courses cover engineering chemistry, engineering drawing, industrial materials and processes, and mathematics with emphasis on applications to defense work.
