In Howard on April 19 voters rejected the current administration, unseating all city officials. J. T. Johnson led with 318 votes, Willie Sheeley had 193, while ward results toppled incumbents C. J. Two Are Bound Over On Robbery Charges
Yankton April 20 Lawrence Wals and H A Backus were bound over by County Judge Virgil D Bowles on highway robbery and kidnapping charges. Bonds were fixed at 1000. The men were arrested in connection with the robbery about a week ago of James McDonald toll keeper of the Missouri River bridge. The robbers secured about 67 from the bridge office and took McDonald several miles into Nebraska. Sheriff William Hickey said Backus had served time in the Nebraska state penitentiary. Wals, who came here from Hartington Nebraska, formerly operated a daily tabloid advertising sheet. Neither had posted bail.

Mrs Feige Leaves for Detroit for League Convention
