Trandequest a 21 foot yaw owned by G A Taleot of Tampa led fears of loss until Cynosure a 36 footer sailed in from the west end of the Florida Keys. In Amarillo Texas on April 6 Jerry Malin sports editor says a planned exhibition between the Chicago White Sox and the Pittsburgh Pirates was canceled due to cool wind. Promoter Lechlin filed suit for 1308 against both clubs alleging failure to fulfill contract without cause. Equipment was attached and bonds posted as the teams set for Tulsa 30 minutes late. Malin claims 6000 spectators were expected for the game before cancellation.
