Girl Escapes Death After Bicycle Hits Live Wire
Friday evening between six and seven, the young daughter of Mr and Mrs C H Kloegel narrowly escaped a horrible death after colliding with a dangling electric light wire near Paushoo. Two wires were broken at the same spot and both were live. The girl was thrown to the ground but unharmed. An eyewitness said one wire was emitting flames and would have caused severe damage.
