Royalists Unready Delegates at Hawaiian Commission

Five Royalist delegates sought audience with the Hawaiian Commission but offered nothing beyond a memorial request. Other groups, including the advanced Hawaiian patriotic association, answered questions and supported American citizenship for natives. The Portuguese Union debated sending a Washington representative to back their memorial. Executors and heirs of Theo H Davies were named in probate in England, detailing extensive trusts and legacies.
