In District Court this morning Ah Pan faced charges of day time housebreaking two counts of assault and battery and one Board of Health violation with no pleas entered. Ah Sang pleaded guilty to fishing nearlin and was fined ten dollars plus costs. Yong Leong also fined ten dollars and costs for crab catching near the city. Ono forfeited bail to secure release on a drunkenness charge after refusing a personal interview with Judge Perry. Several other cases were postponed as His Honor continued to oversee district health and sanitation matters.
