Winthrop on Trial in San Francisco Kidnapping Case

Court remands case to determine noise from instruments

Supreme Court sustains plaintiff J C Cluney against Lee Wai and others and remands to the Circuit Court of the First Circuit at Chambers to take testimony on which musical instruments disturb sleep and the hours of disturbance. Mrs Willis Hosts Dance At Beach House in Honolulu

New arrival in Honolulu from the Coast

A pleasant looking young man named Shanks arrived today from the Coast. He is the son of Dublin's former mayor who represented the city at the World's Fair. Mr. Shanks will stay in Honolulu for an indeterminate period and was shown around town this morning by Sir Robert Herron, the author’s old friend.
