Grand Jury Dispatches Work in Fifth Circuit Hawaii

The Fifth Circuit Court convened on Wednesday with Judge J. Hardy presiding. Grand Jury members and staff were sworn in and instructed by the court, with foreman T. Brandt. The panel reported 21 cases in session, found indictments in 15, and recommended jail reforms after noting prisoner deaths in custody. the report to Judge Hardy follows.

Fee Renounced By Magoon Blocks Stewart Retainer

In a probate court session attorney T. McCants Stewart renounced a $150 claim against Thomas H. Cummings for fees. Judge Gear noted previous decisions on Stewart’s entitlement while Magoon objected. Senatorial Commission First Session in Hawaii Opened
