Maui Racing Association met in Wailuku Court House with secretary Hans presiding in Boote’s absence. A report favored enlarging the Kahului track by rounding curves, raising the track above sea level, and moving the grand stand, with $1500 planned for improvements. Gardner Wilder plans to send horses from Hilo and a Christmas meet is expected to surpass all others. A match race between Boote and Wilder horses is under consideration with Lahaina promising funds for six to seven black horses.

Thief Suspected After Johnson House Burglary
