Burglary At Punchbowl Narrows To Suspect Encounter

William Freitas of Punchbowl woke to a thief leaving with his belongings. He grappled the intruder and was struck, then chased him with a club as the burglar drew a knife. Freitas later reported the loss of a silver watch and gave a description at the police station. Detective Kaupa is handling the case.
