Deputy Attorney General B P Dole reports a light criminal calendar and smooth government business before Third Circuit Judge E G Hitchcock at South Kohala. The major case was Christiano de Vago charged with mayhem for mutilating a woman with a knife. De Vago was convicted and sentenced to five years at hard labor.
