Murder and Sug Portuguese Killed by Plantation Train
A coroner's jury reported the death of 16 year old Antonia Gomes, run over by a flat car on a plantation railroad on September 24 near Nawlebu Kal. They found the death caused by the car due to her own carelessness but faulted the plantation for negligent railroad operations. Also noted is the death by hanging of Chinese man Young at Kapely Gulo Milo, with police discovering his body in a gulch. The cruiser Bottuta will begin coasting tomorrow morning and take on board.

Captain Gives Bond To Federal Court In Liquor Case
Judge Dole handled quick proceedings this morning as Warrant of Attachment issued for Martman and T. W. Hebron. Seven games remained on the bet after prior excusal. Jobin Samon pleaded guilty to liquor law violations and faced sentencing. Pang Kung habeas corpus case pending. Cyrus T. Green and William Treanor posted $1,000 bails each for liquor violations. Treanor linked to illegal squar selling on prior voyage. Captain Treanor of the American schooner AM rner was jailed after transporting the vessel to Kauai for the warrant. he is charged with illegal sale of liquor. The Turner just arrived from Newcastle with 1500 tons of coal and awaits further action.
