In Judge de la Vergne's Police Court this morning three Chinese gamblers were fined $10 each. Doyi was fined $10 and costs for being a common nuisance on a public highway. Fred Wagner pleaded guilty to assault and battery on a Chinaman with sentence reserved. Tam Hoon and Ah Tong were sentenced to sixty days each on the reef for involvement in a chefa game.
