A saddle horse named Pincky Lad belonging to M G Silva bolted last evening about six. A Portuguese boy riding to the store lost the reins but clung to the horse’s mane. At Ordway and Porter’s corner the horse swerved, the boy fell, hooked the hitching rope, and held on until the animal halted. He was uninjured and led the horse to the store.
