Death of David William Pua prominent Hawaiianist leader
David William Pua died suddenly this morning after a night with his son Samuel at their Palama home. Born on Niihau, he was over 60, a successful homesteader and a strong Nationist, former Noble for Oahu and 1890 legislator candidate on the National Reform ticket. Survived by wife two sons two daughters and many grandchildren, funeral at 4 this afternoon from the Catholic Cathedral. Ed A Williams is the undertaker.
