Captain Baldwin Denies Harbor Interference Claim
Captain Londe Baldwin of the Baldwin vessel replies to a September article in the Bulletin titled Filler at Sea Again. He asserts the ship entered Hana harbor under his direction without orders from Captain Parker or others on board the Claudine and calls the article a sham. He notes that Filler’s involvement was only in helping deck hands drop an anchor and that the Baldwin has since faced official accountability. He accuses Parker and Selke of misrepresentation and alleges political pressure surrounding the case.
