Twenty five hundred more. Officers on two transports arrive in port

The Sheridan and Glenogle transport ships bring over two thousand officers and men of the Thirty third and Thirty second U S V regiments from San Francisco en route to the Philippines. The Sheridan carries 47 officers and 1266 men with 80 staff officers. the Glenogle 800 officers and men. Listed are officers aboard the Sheridan and Glenogle, led by Col Louis A Craig and Lt Col John J Brereton, with the 33rd and 32nd Regiments well represented. The ships sit at the Oceania and Pacific Mail piers as preparations continue for the big campaign.

Accidental Death On Ewa Plantation Flat Car

A Japanese laborer on the Ewa plantation was killed Friday when he slipped from a flat car near the coupling as it moved slowly. He was dragged by ironwork, breaking his neck and mangling his body. A coroner's inquest at Ewa Saturday, with Deputy Sheriff Fanons presiding, returned a verdict of accidental death.

First Automobile in Honolulu Delights Crowds

E D Tenney's automobile and H P Baldwins car arrive to great fanfare. The four eight and twelve mile speeds function smoothly with Theo Hoffman driving for Hawaiian Electric. Admiral Dewey Receives New York Welcome and Flag Day Events
