Judgment in Wilhem v Robinson tied to promissory notes and land security

In the high courts Judge Cooper of the First Circuit renders for the plaintiff in Wilhelm versus Robinson on two promissory notes of 1900 each connected to a rice plantation purchase at Laie. Only 690 paid. judgment awarded for the balance with interest and costs. Also Judge Whiting rules on cancellation suit by Fritz J. Wilheolo against John Robinson and Elizabeth Robinson, foreclosing a 450 mortgage and subrogating rights to Dimond. decision assigns 450 plus 10 percent interest and costs to Wilhelm for the benefit of the children, with possibility to amend the bill. Johnson Robinson liable for 6500 plus interest from May 1, 1805. Other cases noted include W.K. Wile et al. and A.J. Lopez v McChesney.

Japan appoints new Charge dAffaires and Consul General for Hawaii

The court term case settled by deducting an equivalent from a 7083 claim against the assignee, approved June 19 in bankruptcy. Japan will appoint Shimomori as Charge dAffaires and Consul-General for Hawaii, with prior service in New York and Moxic, sharing Fujii's former rank and diplomatic functions. Pandemonium of Passengers Allowed Ashore After Fumigation

A steamer China brought Panwenzors Antara to town with two or more Yokohama passengers aboard. All passengers and baggage were fumigated with puerantine to prevent contagious illness. The ship was cleared, and landing without quarantine proceeded after a season of fumigation due to no contagion.

Man Struck by Train Car in City Accident

Henry Olas son of dames Olds was thrown from a wagon near King Street and injured when a passing tramcar moved over him. He fell between rails and survived, though head injuries occurred. Dr Murrey treated him and declared him out of danger after a chain came off the sprocket of the machine.
