Sharpshooters Disband and Transfer Assets
At a meeting of the Sharpshooters Company sixteen members attended. The group voted to disband, with books placed in an iron box for preservation and handed to the Historical Society. Medals and prizes were awarded, the Hoodatn Rifles will elect a new organization, and the Sharpshooters range was sold for 150. Regular practice pauses until January 1, 1809.

Moke Kenulani David Palina and Black Pinno returning from the missionary packet Morning Star report two months on the Coast. They found much that interested them but insist Hawaii offers the best home. The Queen on Nowana Street has undergone changes since Mr Arbell took over, now a first class house with reasonable charges attracting visitors from the Australia.
