Five Smugglers Committed for Trial in U S District Court
The United States District Court ordered five men to answer in the federal court after quick fruit smuggling arrests. Chirlee Park Yeo Pi Ah Fook Katawa and Charles Ah Fé were committed for trial with bond set at 1000. Evidence cited is conclusive though hearings revealed additional anxieties in the investigation into the operation blamed for smuggling fillet drug into the Territory. The report notes rumors of a broader conspiracy but investigators say those claims rest on imagination.
