Election Law Says Proceedings Unconstitutional In Contest
The Supreme Court heard the election contest for the at large supervisor position in Kanewil Wiljie aeaite. Kaneauls allegedly forged signatures on nomination papers and argued that printed ballots with a limited candidate list infringe the voters right to write in a name. Judge Eddings questioned the constitutionality and declined to rule on the nomination inquiry, noting the relator Willis had undergone an operation for penicillin during the case. The court took the matter under advisement after extensive argument before noon.
