Shriners Parade Brightens Honolulu Day 1907

The parade of Shriners in Honolulu featured a large turnout from Alohe Temple and visiting units. Candidates marched from the Masonic Temple to the K of P Hall and then toward the Capitol, with Arab Patrols and Pester stunts delighting onlookers. George Kekanoha Convicted. Voter Rights Question Raised

George Kekanoha was yesterday afternoon convicted of adultery in the United States District Court. Judge Perry urged a lighter sentence while District Attorney Hreckens pressed for proportionate punishment. The four month jail term, though brief, strips Kekanoha of citizenship and voting rights. Kaapana Sentenced Twenty Five Years for Murder
