John K Sumner flees a demur rer to his trustee Bishop Gulatan Ropert who sought his resignation and a new trustee. He is represented by Magoon Peters, previously seeking insanity declaration and guardianship. Sumner claims lack of court jurisdiction over a voluntary revocable trust, asserts no request to terminate the trust or reconvey assets, and questions inclusion of Cuba Railway Co funds and other sums in the trust.
A large Republican torchlight procession in Honolulu drew about 1200 participants from the Fourth and Fifth Districts.
