An OCR fragment touts a home remedy for colds and flu symptoms. It mentions hot foot baths and cherry pectoral as an aid, claiming quick relief and cure of bronchitis, weak throats, coughs, and related illnesses for children and adults.
Two divorce cases before Judge Perry drew attention this week. Mrs. Trene Brown was granted a divorce from A. Brown with custody of two children awarded to the mother. The other case, E. Coit Hobron v Hobron, involved controversy over alleged leprosy claims and medical witnesses. The court dismissed the husband’s libel in Brown and granted the wife a divorce with alimony. The session also touched on session adjournment and budget items including support for band and local road work.
A large crowd is expected for tonight's concert at Kamehameha Gymnasium to raise funds to relieve the boys of debts from their baseball venture. Local talent and Mr. Charles Kreuter of the Government band perform. Tickets bought at Hobroo's Drug Store include a car fare coupon. remaining tickets available at the hall.

In Papaokalani vs Kapulani, motion for new trial for quiet title to land was overruled by Judge Stanley.

May 12 reports from Key West recount the torpedo boat Winslow’s raid on Cardenas harbor. Ensign Worth Bagley and fireman John Meek die on the Winslow, with Josiah Tunnell and John Varverex among the wounded. Captain Todd’s raid provokes heavy Spanish fire and the ship is crippled before withdrawal. Lieutenant Bernadou remains at his post as the crew struggles to save the vessel.
