Thirteen entrants competed in Worcester Massachusetts on December 12 for the 1209 Model D Franklin touring car. The Franklin achieved the only perfect score after a rigid inspection by Worcester Polytechnic Institute faculty. other cars were penalized for broken or loosened parts. The Boston American praised the Franklin for its outstanding performance and commended the team for their feat.
