Good's Court of Inquiry Rehearsing Theories Against Captain Good
The Court of Inquiry resumed the rehearing of the evidence in the Goodenge case last evening. Witnesses described a cannon sight seen by H. J. Rhodes’s son at a government nursery, allegedly linked to an Austrian Bell piece. Testimony covered attempts to mail the sight to the President or Minister Cooper, and various testimonies touched on missing sights, salutes, and tensions within the court as witnesses presented fragments of events from 1895 to 1896.
