Moat Racing Association Holds Annual Meeting
Wailuku May 10 The Moat Racing Association held its annual meeting at the courthouse. President A N Kepolkat chaired a large gathering. Treasurer Meyer reported a balance over $400. Secretary Geo Hotwoe resigned due to ill health and was thanked for years of service. New officers elected include President Kepolkat, Vice President W L Decoto, Secretary Ana Le Coke, Treasurer Lt Meyer, and executive committee Baldwie Decker and W F Robinson. Discussions focused on Fourth of July and August 12 races at Spreckels Park with juries not exceeding 500 and purses cut from 150 to 75 for pacing and trotting. Natives, Portuguese and Japanese expected to enter.
