Honolulu Gas Plant Begins Operation Today

Gas engineers in Honolulu started the first gas from the Honolulu Gas Company plant in Swileh this morning. A small boiler was fired and testing underway as delivery readiness is planned within twenty days. Pipes cover over a mile on Nuani Street School Street Fort and Alaker areas.
