Disorderly conduct plea ends with prison sentence in Circuit Court

John Gillman pleaded guilty in the Circuit Court to disorderly contact and was sentenced to imprisonment with hard labor. Attorney De Bolt moved for a new trial. the motion was overruled and an appeal noted. Gillman released on under $100 bond. In a separate case Hattie K. Vividaves v F J Tosto, the court ruled for the plaintiff on a quiet title action covering a large Patama estate of about 204,000 acres. Kinney Ballou for plaintiff Rosa for defendant. Victoria Ward et al injunction matter: motion to allow demurrer by Humphreys & Gorn set for hearing tomorrow at 1:30 pm. Sumner case Niniko Sumner withdrawing appearance. A S Hartwell to substitute.
