Police Inspection Day and New Military Reorganization

Police and mounted patrols were inspected by Attorney General Cooper at 1 AM. The force included twenty five officers, three captains, lieutenants, and special troops. Separately, American forces were reorganized into two divisions under General Lawton and General MacArthur, with various regiments and batteries assigned to the Field Division and provost duties.
