The Daughters of Rebekah at Pacific Degree Lodge U of 1 Honolulu celebrated an anniversary with a literary and musical program and dance. Miss Rive delighted the audience with piano, couples Love performed an instrumental duet, and a garden scene from Joan Tagelow’s Songs of Seven impressed guests. Chairs and floor managers organized the event, refreshments followed, and the evening wrapped with a Virginia reel despite bad weather.

Last night a small boy driving a buggy ran into a street car from Punahou near Washington Place, toppling the buggy and throwing the lad onto the street. The car driver warned the boy moments before impact. The horse stayed calm, and the boy was uninjured. The editor aided in righting the carriage as a lamp burned briefly, and the top became lop-sided. The boy claimed the carriage belonged to Mr Markhoff.
Willis the United States minister and W. H. Luce auctioneer announce a sale of handsome household furniture at King Street on Tuesday March first at 10 a.m. due to temporary departure. Included are chairs tables mirrors a fine birdseye maple bedroom set, oak dining table and chairs, a Studebaker with harness. Viewing begins morning of sale.
A starting statement claims less than 8 percent of sake imported from Japan is sold through saloons in the country, with 92 percent reaching Chinese and Japanese stores and being peddled to locals. It notes Kauai absorbs much of ship freight from Honolulu, visible in departing steamer freight lists.

Ex Kaval-T200 bay sugar and Ex Jainoe Makee-2100 baga wuenr are listed along with Ex Keauhou-8513 bage agar. Sugar totals include JA Cummins with 1125 bags and WG Hull-6100 awe sugar with 870 bags. Additional entries show 200 bags for W bage awa and 50 bales hides from J borea and other notes.
