Suffering from remorse and drink, William Crewes, an American 4 to 45, hanged himself at his home near Wilder and Pickel streets between ten this morning. He was released from jail Sunday after a drink-related arrest and, after a family talk, returned home with his wife and two children taunted by peers. No note was left. The coroner’s inquest is planned tonight. Crewes was a skilled carpenter earning six to four dollars daily, last with the Luc Srothers on the addition to D PR, Senbern's hayae, Pensacola Street. He lived about twenty-two years.
