New Hackfeld & Co. Opens Modern Honolulu Home

The historic firm HL Hackfeld & Co. Ltd, founded by Captain Henry Hackfeld in 1840, opens its new Honolulu headquarters at the corner of Fort and Queen streets. President J. F. Hackfeld presided as 40 clerks and staff welcomed guests and praised Isenberg while workers prepared to move books and papers into the impressive building designed by Traphagen.

Walsh in contempt case ends in jail after threats
