Eureka sails from Anahola with sixteen laborers
The Globe Navigation Company steamship Eureka under Captain Weedon departed Anahola last evening with sixteen laborers to assist in loading Makee sugar. This voyage marks the first time such a large vessel has gone to Anahola, a move watched closely by local shipping men as the crew heads to Honolulu to complete the cargo. A couple of matters were heard at the Poller Court today, including Deputy Sheriff Chillingworth's transfer to the Second District Court and Clerk Zablan's appearance in upper court as a witness in disbarment proceedings.
