Obituary of German soldier Count von Waldersee born Potsdam April 8 1832. He joined the army in 1850 served in the 1886 war and Franco German campaign. He was Quartermaster General in 1882 and commanded the Ninth Army Corps in 1888. He married Princess Mary Esther Lee in 1874.
