$350 000 More For Mahuka Site

Acting Governor Mott-Smith received a cablegram from Delegate Rubio promising 350000 more for the Mahuka site to condemn the remainder of the area around Fort Street and Port and King. The woman prepared a rope from cloth remnants and a rope slipknot and died by strangulation in the bed. She leaves a husband and four children, oldest about sixteen.
