Victoria Jubilee Hymns and Central Union Musical Service

Queen's Diamond Jubilee Sports Program Revisions Announced

A revised program for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration lists changes in prizes for wheelbarrow and sack races. Japanese Complaints to Hawaii Gov Over Foreign Affairs Letters

President Dole met a Rodertx representative to discuss a Japanese minister’s complaint about unanswered communications to the Foreign Affairs Minister. Shimamura denied a rumor about the Nippon ship Na niwa leaving soon. The Hawaiian Government planned to respond after earlier replies, though letters remained partly unanswered due to diffuse content and other duties. The President stated there was no intent to ignore the Japanese minister’s communications.

Club Swinging Class Led by Finney in Honolulu

Cinse in Clo swinging star B L Finney will lead a club swinging class at the M W gymnasium. Membership requires enrollment in the association gym classes. Beginning with about 20 expected, over 30 have signed up. session to start shortly after July 4.

Special Music Tomorrow at St Andrew's Cathedral Service

On Sunday June 20 the 60th anniversary of Queen Victoria's reign, the Second Congregation choir at St Andrew's Cathedral will sing at the morning service at 9 45. Woodward's Te Deum in E flat Stane's Jubilee anthem Let Every Soul Be Bubied and a festival jubilate will be played, the national anthem on the organ.

Jury from Lima to hear Uobe John mutiny demand case

Police at Callao confirm the jury came from Lima regarding State Department action with the U S charge of legation in Lima for relief of the mate of the American bark Uobe John. The mate ashore December 19 at Calin, arrested during a demand for Ma tiner beer at the Criterion Saloon.
