Legislature Minutes From Session On Land Mill Day

The legislature session records show no Senate meeting in the morning. President Wilder opened at 1 39 p m Chaplain Peck led prayers. Minutes approved. Brown moved to elect five Council of State members for June 19. Janitor issues discussed with Finance Department control noted. Minister Hatch addressed interpreter needs. A message from the President on recent appointments was received. Waterhouse moved to place appointments on the agenda for Thursday in executive session. Adjourned to 10 a m tomorrow.

Representatives Elects Kamauoha Vice Speaker In Assembly

The House convened at 10 and elected Rep Kamauoha vice speaker by 9 to 5 after nominations. The Land Bill was referred to a five member committee. The afternoon considered the Land Bill in Committee of the Whole as roll call noted absentees and officials. The steamer W G Hall arrived with passengers and Antone Seabury was authorized to collect subscriptions and ads.
