Prohibition Convention Formed in Maui County
Wailuku Maui June 6 meeting of citizens favored prohibition voted to form a prohibition organization in Maui County and to hold a convention in Kahului on Thursday to organize. Local leaders including Justice Kalua and Rev. Nawahine attended. political discussions followed as Democrats met in Walhee with turnout near twenty five, while a local business owner faced closure for lack of support.
