Hawaii liquor licenses delayed until July 30

Hilo June 3 The Hawaii County Liquor License Board adjourned and will not grant licenses on the island until July 30. All liquor houses are closed except those with per day special licenses. Outer district places cannot reopen before August 4.

Incoming Congress party to visit Islams in June

A second congressional delegation, smaller than the prior visit, will tour Islams within weeks.
