Kapaa Island Wedding of Mina Alotan and Bue Kong
The Kapaa wedding of Mina Rome Alotan daughter of Wong Alotan and Mr Bue Kong a Honolulu banker was a grand 8 o'clock ceremony at the Kapaa church attended by the bride’s family and many locals. Rev J M Lydgate officiated as the couple received guests at a reception and later danced at a hall with a local orchestra. The ceremony featured a verse by Rev Lydgate and a reception of the wedding party before the couple departed in a car for their unknown postnuptial plans.
